CCI is seeking to hire an Internal Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team in the UK with the opportunity to work with an Exceptional People Leader. Our Internal Sales Development Representative, Europe is a full-time or part-time role (30 hours per week, which can be worked over 5 days). We are keen to work around the successful applicants life commitments, work-life balance is important to us at CCi, over half of the team in Europe are already working part time. This is a permanent and remote / home-based position that requires limited travel with flexible working arrangements. Location ideally in Manchester, London, the Home Counties, or Central Scotland but can be based anywhere in the UK. The Europe team comprises 10 employees and 50 contractors.
The Inside Sales Development Representative’s primary focus is on prospecting for new opportunities, the qualification of newly identified prospects, and the nurturing of existing contacts. Additionally, the Inside Sales Development Representative will work closely with corporate and regional marketing in the development of industry or regional specific content. This role will be an integral part of the regional business development team working in concert with sales leadership and delivery personnel.
Fluency in use of Saleforce and lead generation tools is an integral part of the role as is knowledge of current social media platforms. The Inside Sales Development Representative is accountable for developing and managing a local demand generation strategy for the identification and qualification of new leads and opportunities within specific target markets. The demand generation strategy will define how to exploit inbound leads that come from CCI Marketing campaigns, as well as outbound leads created by regional marketing prospecting activities (webinars, Regional Marketing, personal networks, etc.). The role will develop direct sales efforts for new prospects and opportunities in different areas, including:
Continuous Improvement and production systems implementation for efficiency improvement in the Chemical, Food, Beverage, CPG, Pharmaceutical, and Mining & Mineral Industries in the region
Supply chain optimisation transformation and improvement system implementation to increased competitiveness and efficiency gains in the Chemical, Food, Beverage, CPG, Pharmaceutical, and Mining & Mineral Industries in the region
For the European region, there is a specific coaching and governance role required to generate and qualify leads from all regional networks and in particular through independent contractor networks. The qualification process will assess whether the prospects are ready to engage with CCI’s Outside Sales Rep and other Sales resources. The Inside Sales Development Representative will further support CCI Sales and Leadership to convert the Opportunity into a sale.
The Inside Sales Development Representative will drive new business by developing relationships with prospective accounts through the following:
Lead sourcing: identifying sufficient decision-maker and influential contacts to add to nurturing campaigns
Ensure a competitive advantage is created and maintained through timely impactful communications and lasting impressions
Actively leverage technology advances to ensure CCI is current and relevant in all sales communications
Coach lead owners on how to conduct BANT qualification of prospects, assessing whether prospects have the budget, authority, need and timeline needed to make the purchasing decision
Lead research: conduct initial research on the prospect to identify the decision-makers and influencers, understand the symptoms and causes by discovering the prospect’s problems and challenges (pain points), and establishing CCI’s relevance to the prospect
Manage processing and allocation of leads and follow up with team
Coach lead owners on how to develop a value hypothesis that will enable them to establish relationship/s with the C-Suite and core decision-makers
Ensure ringfence process is applied to allocated leads
Ensure all communication and sales activities are documented and updated in SalesForce creating reports to facilitate governance and reporting metrics
Effectively engage with the prospects to maintain their continued support of the TRACC proposition
Actively keep up to date with product/service knowledge
Provide advice and expertise to Sales team & Lead owners on new product offerings and help to identify suitable target clients.
Help influence a client's selection process and evaluation criteria
Assist Sales and Leadership in the administration and facilitation of the negotiations and closing activities
Degree or Diploma in Business Related Subject
Minimum of 3 years experience, in business to business selling preferable within a software/services solution multi-national company
Have a good understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement principles, methodologies and practices
Demonstrates a good understanding of supply chain optimisation processes and practices to help create an aligned and efficient value chain
Excellent interpersonal skills
Accountable and responsible in all situations
Excellent written communication skills
Highly organised and practices excellent time management
Able to work productively within a cross-cultural and global team
Ability to learn from constructive criticism in a positive manner
