About this role
As a member of the Administration team, you will be responsible for providing reception duties and administrative support to the various departments.
With this in mind, you will make an impact from day one by:
Managing the reception desk
Coordinating and managing all boardroom schedules
Co-ordinating meeting requirements (dates, venue, catering, IT/equipment etc.)
Assisting with catering
Welcoming all visitors, determining the nature of their visit and direct them to relevant team member
Acquainting all visitors with safety rules
Managing all switchboard responsibilities, answering incoming calls and directing calls or taking messages
Allocating petty cash
Issuing and managing access cards
Managing car parking allocations
Handling all courier deliveries
Liaising with certain external suppliers
Maintaining a neat and tidy reception area
Managing the storeroom
Managing stationary requirements
Compiling reports as required
Assisting with all administrative and ad hoc duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE
An EE candidate
Between the ages of 18 and 35
South African
6 months Reception or PA experience
Grade 12
Office Administration / Management qualification (preferably)
Must not have taken part in an internship programme before
Excellent telephone etiquette
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Strong writing skills (to prepare own correspondence)
