CCi is seeking to hire a Regional HR Partner to join our dynamic team in the UK. The role will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service to the Europe region across multiple locations and languages, working remotely. The role will be responsible for strategic and tactical support across all HR practices, ensuring that they cultivate a culture that unlocks greatness and allows people to do the best work of their lives. The role will execute the people strategy and proactively advise on best practice HR, taking a hands-on, customer service orientation and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Europe with a dotted line to the Global HR Director.
This is a part-time (32 hours per week), permanent and remote/home-based position that requires limited travel with flexible working arrangements. Location ideally in central Scotland or South East England. The team comprises 10 employees and 50-70 contractors.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Work with the regional leadership team to define and manage people priorities. Participate in management team meetings as needed to understand the business and the people; staying abreast of changes to projects and teams and the effect on the business and people
- Work to create a seamless employee experience, own the employee life cycle and key people practices for onboarding, workforce planning, reward and recognition, continuous learning and career progression
- Support onboarding framework for new hires to ensure productivity and strong employee experience
- Provide HR insight to the business and build insight into how people feel and what’s important to them
- Provide proactive, pragmatic coaching in the areas of talent development, organisational design, performance management and talent management
- Own the contract management process supporting workforce requirements in line with client and project schedules
- Provide development for managers on how to facilitate team reviews, setting goals and measuring results and how to have regular and human conversations
- Work with the global HR team to co-design the right people strategy, solutions and initiatives
- Deliver diversity and inclusion interventions to raise awareness, encourage open and honest conversations and allow our people to be themselves at work
- Able to demonstrate local expertise, cultural and market knowledge and ensure compliance with UK and European legislation
- Ensure local benefits offerings are competitive and align with organisational strategy. Drive new processes and efficiencies locally as needed
- Research and align HR practices to future world of work, digital culture and evolving practices
- Ensure strategic company initiatives and culture are being driven throughout the region
- Check payroll monthly (outsourced payroll provider), manage all benefits and BambooHR people system
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A CIPD qualification to level 7, BA degree or equivalent
- At least 7 years’ experience as HR Business Partner at a senior level and will have covered regions in Europe and UK
- Experience working for a global business and ideally within a continuous improvement culture, FMCG, engineering, manufacturing, IT, tech or similar fast-paced, ever-changing and cutting-edge business
- In-depth knowledge of modern human resource legislation, systems and practices
- Confidence in leading human resource activities and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development
- A real interest in integrated improvement and continuous improvement with a focus on business outcomes
